For reviewers, a public profile is built from the following information: genres they have declared an interest in, ratings received from writers on the helpfulness, clarity and specificity of their feedback, their current reviewer tier level, their feedback history including number of reviews completed and number of writers reviewed for, and their content comfort preferences including intimacy level declarations. This profile is used to match reviewers with writers whose manuscripts are a good fit, and to allow writers to discover and evaluate reviewers before inviting them.
For writers, a profile is built from the following information: genres they write in, their current writer tier level, manuscripts they have created, and their activity on the platform. This profile is used to match them with appropriate reviewers through the platform matching system.
Profiling on Write Bubble is used solely to improve the relevance of reviewer and writer matching and to display meaningful reputation information to other users. It is not used for advertising, marketing, or any purpose beyond the core platform service.

Automated decision-making
We use the information that we collect about you for automated individual decision-making. Automated individual decision-making is making a decision solely by automated means without any human involvement. We use the following logic to conduct automated decision-making: Write Bubble uses automated decision making in two ways.
First, reviewer tier progression. The platform automatically calculates a reviewer's tier level based on their activity and quality metrics. These include the number of reviews completed, average quality ratings received from writers, helpfulness, clarity and specificity scores, the number of different writers reviewed for, and the feedback acceptance rate. As these metrics increase the reviewer automatically progresses through five tiers from Curious Reader to Community Voice. This affects the visibility of their profile in reviewer search results and the features available to them.
Second, writer tier progression. The platform automatically calculates a writer's tier level based on their activity on the platform. These include the number of chapters added, feedback rounds completed, reviewers worked with, feedback acceptance rate, and time active on the platform. As these metrics increase the writer automatically progresses through five tiers from First Drafter to Published Author. This affects the features available to them and their access to higher tier reviewers.
